This latest Game of The Century was over in the 1st inning. Carlos Rodon, the premier pitcher in college baseball, “owned” Fox’s Moochies in Omaha to the tune of 8-1. It wasn’t as close as the score. Wolfpack moves on….. Tar Heels’ backs to the wall.
I did NOT coin that title phrase. Baseball America did a few months ago, but it fits now….. ! Two local squads of “really good kids who play really good baseball” are headed to Warren Buffet’s BallYard in Omaha. Yippee!
