My Opinion? … I Like This Guy.

OK … a week ago I had never heard of “This Guy”.  Of course, the only current or recent NBA head coaches I “might” could name are Steve Kerr, Gregg Popovich and JJ Redick.  Those first two because they are hard-core, quite insane, obscenity screeching TrumpMAGA Haters … and JJ is, of course, “JJ”. 

The ONLY Charlotte Hornets Head Coach I can name would be “Dick Harter” and that was 25+ years ago.  Who forgets a name like Dick Harter?  I’d be hard pressed to name a dozen current NBA players much less coaches.  Hellfire, I can’t name three WNBA teams much less coaches or players (not named Catlin or Sophie).

Any opinions I might have – and will be sharing below – about Michael Malone (that IS his name, right?) have developed over the past three days.   

Coach Malone’s opinions about Donald Trump and MAGA guys like me … whether he (Malone) is mentioned in the Epstein files … Did he ever have a liason with a “sports journalist(?)” at a remote Arizona hide-away ala Mike Vrabel – YIKES! … Does he (Malone) “Hate Jews” … Does he think we “faked the moon landing … and 9/11 … and Kennedy’s Assassination … and COVID” … and, and, and …  and what is his opinion on con-trails and Candace Owens and barbeque – vinegar or tomato sauce? … Where O’ Where is Silent Sam? …… I don’t know ANY of that YET … but surely some pathetic no-life Franklin Street board monkey and/or some equally pathetic no-life Hated Rivals are deep diving the Dark Web to find out.  Sordid details should begin trickling out any minute now … 

FWIW: I also applaud NC State’s selection of alum Justin Gainey as the solution to their most unusual WTH with Will WhatsHisName.

Barack Hussein Mandela…. huh?

Obama rushing to link himself historically to Nelson Mandela was as predictable as every jack-booted mis-step in this sicko SNL skit known as The Obamination of America.

Mandela spends 26 years in prison ….. Obama gets an unplayable lie on the 15th fairway at Congressional CC.!!??

Sure I can see the obvious parallels of these two men overcoming unfair obstacles in their lives….. can’t you?….

Vince Flynn Predicted All This

If you are a Conservative who reads “political thrillers” you’ve certainly heard of the late Vince Flynn. Vince died last year of cancer, but his fourteen best-selling “Mitch Rapp” novels will be his lasting legacy for many years to come.

In 2008, Flynn’s Extreme Measures presented the blueprint for today’s headlines re: Attack On The CIA By Political Opportunists. As I read this book six years ago I saw the deranged she-liberal politician as Nancy Pelosi. Turns out “she” is Diane Feinstein. ….. Regardless, “Mitch” prevails and America survives another day. Will Truth follow Fiction?

If I had a nickel for every time, over the past several years, I’ve been asked “So BobLee, what’s eventually going to happen at Carolina?” Boy, would I have an awful lot of nickels. If I got a quarter I would be in Ken Wainstein’s tax bracket.

Sports On a VERY Slippery Slope

Everyone AGAINST Freedom of Speech raise your hand. “A cure for breast cancer? Anyone opposed to THAT? How about “9/11”? OK, I see a few IslamoTerrorists out there shaking your heads.

How about “Ferguson”? Do we all agree on where the Moral High Ground is on that? Absolutely Not. There is considerable difference of opinion, but the NFL and now the NBA are sheepishly complicit in giving a voice to Just One Side of a very volatile issue.

How far away are we from pro and college sports letting its players “sport” pure political bumperstickers on their uniforms and by their on-field/court actions? We are a lot closer than we were a month ago.

I Agree With The UNC-CH Whinees

STOP THE PRESSES! The latest group of adolescent misfit toys are all aflutter over at UNC@Chapel Hill. Continuing a tradition going back to The Tet Offensive, The Selma March and The Demise of the Snail Darter. A motley little gaggle of runny-nosed whinees are doing their votive candle, locking-arms, aswaying and abeseeching act just as generations before them have done so predictably over at The Flagship. This time, of course, its “Ferguson”. Next week it will be something else.

Except this time I’ve actually found tangential agreement with a key tenet in said whinees’ mournful manifesto.
