Like all subjects involving sports, individual likes/dislikes are totally subjective. That I prefer a certain sport or certain high profile team or athlete is nothing more than one guy’s favorite barbecue joint or Bond girl. The only difference is I have a hugely popular website bully pulpit to trumpet my favorites.

It’s no secret, this summer of 2017 is, so far, a frustrating one for “The Greatest Fans in Baseball.” St. Louis Cardinals fans are just a tad discontented. But, if you jumped off the bandwagon before last night… you missed a good one.
