News is like Weather.  Everyday there is some.    Lately around here there’s been a LOT.   The Easley Mess is in Stage 4 or 5 or 12 depending on how you count “updates”.  Gov Sanford, like ALL hypocritical Christian Conservs is philandering like a Kennedy except Mark’s dates don’t drown.  And over at Duke “it’s where oh where is The Gang of 88?”  WARNING - WARNING -SCARY COLUMN!

…..  There were three significant deaths all within 24 hours – Michael Jackson, Farrah and Mark Sanford’s political career. Let’s look at all three for their deep socio-cultural relevance.  And speaking of “looking” –  Yes, we have THAT Tami Hansbrough pic from Draft Night.   Talk about a Thriller!

....it's those dog dayz of late June.  The Easleys, The Edwards, and Jon & Kate are befuddling us with their antics.  Whats a body to do?  Like manna from Heaven, we found the following uplifting account of a couple working their way thru the labyrinthian maze of modern relationships.  This is a VERY lengthy piece best suited for "a beach read".   For sure "all God's chillun got problems!" but beware if "she keeps her sunglasses on" .....
