BLS: ..”MissouriMess” Arrives at UNCCH…

Black DEmands
BobLee
November19/ 2015

The MissouriMess Model arrived at UNC-CH Thurs Night

50 DEMANDS…. Or ELSE!

Black DEmands

The “Or Else” is not specified but the words “basketball team” did come up. …… WHAMMO!

I was wrong.  I really figured this would take a few more weeks.   But you all did know it was coming, Right?

A complete list of the 50 DEMANDS is linkedSome real doozies…. Silent Sam… “that Bush Woman”….. blah blah blah …. but you probably figured there would be.  Huh?

NOTE:  NO Black FB / MBB were identified as members of this mini-mob tonight.   Someone needs to tell Urkel that without a dozen prominent black jocks standing beside him – “He’s got nuthin’….”.

Who will bend over and grab their ankles first?  Chihuahua (From Dartmouth)?  Roy?  Larry?   Tom “Z Smith” Ross?

(1) Will ANYONE have the cajones to “Just Say NO!”?

(2) What color lapel ribbon will Little Carol choose for this one?

(3) Can they still build “The IPF” if they name it for a black guy? …. and, OF COURSE…

(4)  “Coach, will this effect Recruiting?”

They should bring “Trainwreck” Fennebresque AND Dickie back for this…. Dontchathink?

Students interrupt race meeting at UNC with lengthy demands

http://abc11.com/news/students-interrupt-race-meeting-at-unc-with-demands/1091983/

CHAPEL HILL (WTVD) —
A UNC town hall meeting on race relations on college campuses was disrupted Thursday evening by a group of students who took over the event and read off a lengthy list of 50 demands.

CLICK HERE FOR THE FULL LIST (.pdf)

The list of demands titled “A collective Response to Anti-blackness” labels UNC Chapel Hill as an “unethical institution” which exploits labor, runs an “athletic industrial complex”, and treats people of color as “less than essential to the everyday running of UNC.”

The demands rang from the removal of the new system president, mandatory training for students and staff on the “historical racial violence of the university”, banning the use of standardized tests like the SAT for college admission, more transparency when it comes to graduation rates, and free access to all school cafeterias and gyms for all North Carolina residents.

The demands rang from the removal of the new system president, mandatory training for students and staff on the “historical racial violence of the university”, banning the use of standardized tests like the SAT for college admission, more transparency when it comes to graduation rates, and free access to all school cafeterias and gyms for all North Carolina residents.

Race relations have been an ongoing conversation on campus. Just this year, the school has seen a renewed fight against Silent Sam – a Confederate memorial that has been vandalized several times.

Most recently, it came up again after the University of Missouri president stepped down – accused of not addressing issues of racism.

ABC11 will update this developing story

This is the problem with allowing the terminally ignorant and state-raised and educated dullards into an institution of higher learning.
Not only are the demands poorly written and childish, they have obviously not considered the future results of present actions. They only dwell in the past.
Their open actions of eliminating the blue shield that protects their ignorant butts would allow the neighboring thugs from nearby counties an open season on looting, killing, and ravaging the campus.
Who knows. Maybe the herd needs that sort of thinning.
Idiots.

while there’s certainly a racial aspect to to the Mizzou thing and this, the Mizzou thing would have been brushed off without the football team threatening no to play and this will be brushed off unless the football and/or basketball team threaten not to play.
this is less about race mongering, though there’s plenty of that being attempted, than the extent to which universities have sold themselves out to “big time” revenue sports.

Just read the fifty “demands” and wow! Even old Karl’s manifesto can’t hold a candle to this lunacy. Let’s see: free tuition, free housing, free food, segregated sections for blacks only,no police, etc. It appears that they should all just move to a location that already provides most of these demands-Chicago!

If these young’uns are sick and tired of microaggressions a few of ’em ought to visit Earl from your earlier story for a dose of what real aggression looks like up close and personal. However I assume they prefer dealing one on one with only spineless invertebrates. These tantrums are nothing more than mythical perturbations with some help of some media lackeys. TJ’s recommendation for submitting their plan for discussion among duly elected officials and the proposal to put it before the citizens of NC in a referendum was spot on. Good luck to ’em. If Reverend Barbour does decide… Read more »

BL,

Since the UNC powers are looking at demands I demand that I be granted a BA, MBA and Ph.D. I also demand that I be given immediate membership in Phi Beta Kappa since I would have gotten A’s in all of the courses I might have decided to take if I had attended.

In return I will come to the first two games of each football season.

TJ, If you submit your demands to Ms. Folt or whoever you can corner….I suggest, as SWUNCer did, that you really READ the list of 50 demands…..you are due FAR more than your initial wanna list. BUT, you MUST do that as I do….DEMAND has to be in ALL CAPS and BOLD….read their literary effort….it is really good for a laugh….and also for you to realize just what level of intelligence and “White Supremacy is Hold me BACK” you are dealing with. Most of them are hoping for charter membership in the FOCOA. (Future Obama Community Organizers Association). FOCOA will… Read more »

In 1976 the former assistant Surgeon General of the US retired as a General and became the dean of the Dental school at Tufts in Boston. About the third day he was there, his secretary came into his office and told him the students are here to present their list of demands. His response? “This dean does not entertain any demands. They may leave and get back to work or else they will be dismissed from this school.” He had no more problems. He told me this personally when I attended his course on surgery for dentists. When the leaders… Read more »

BobLee, this “Demand” list is so laughable it is actually beyond belief that any student with an ounce of common sense would think it could be taken seriously. Last night I hadn’t read it with my first comment, but I just read it. No student at UNC wrote this list. I’m sorry, but UNC just does not teach words like “disaggregate” to the average student. These demands are so contradictory. No policing on campus, but no sexual assaults, either. Huh??? All your readers should take a few minutes to read this statement. They won’t believe it either!

SWVAUNCer, God forbid that we, of opposite DNA in the UNC v. NCSU feud would agree….but I totally am on board with you. I downloaded the list of demands last night when WTVD scanned them and passed them to many folks that would get a laugh out of them and also perhaps, reconsider, their electoral choices. Those that read them, even before their late night adult beverage were ROFLTAO…. If you TRIED to write up a SNL skit showing the lack of “leadership and intelligence”, you could get the best team of writers and comedians and it would NEVER match… Read more »

Sorry to take so long to reply, but thank you for agreeing with me, even if we are on opposite sides of the DNA collegiate feud. Believe or not, I agree with some of the “red and white” grads quite often, I just don’t write it enough. I’m not a fan of Carol Folt, I think she’s a total airhead, and it has nothing to do with her being a woman (as am I). And I’m about as liberal a reader of BL as you can get (he’ll verify that). However, this bunch of absolute horse hooey by students (and… Read more »

OK….the protesters done defecated in their BLM Lunch boxes….. http://nypost.com/2015/11/18/michael-jordans-steakhouse-says-bums-are-putting-them-out-of-business/ The Mighty Michael done SPOKE. He wants the POOOOLICE to disband the BUMS from his eatery. Now, if you read the student’s demands…..specifically #23 and #27 state that “anyone, homeless, black, brown, whatever” done got the right to be anywhere and do anything on the UNC – CH Campus as well as in CH and Carrboro and that the POOOOOOLICE should be “disarmed” and “disbanded” and nots allowed to harass, touch, intimidate or even THINK harsh thoughts about these Racially Discriminated Against band or contingent. If Michael ain’t happy with… Read more »

BobLee, I get it that the drive-by media, locally spearheaded by WRAL, is hopelessly Marxist / Socialist. But to endlessly give these rogues free headline, opening story coverage for multiple days on their newscast is just astounding and confounding. The media shares a large portion of blame for catalyzing the fall of our society.

went back and viewed the N&O video of the “event”. Demand #7 was for firing of Margaret Spellings….that obviously brought the expected applause from the entire crowd…..sort of like Donald Trump’s generic lines…..regardless of the persuasion of “the crowd”, there was some commonality. Don’t know if Ms. Folt gonna cave or not…..if you actually read the list, it calls for her outster or a substantial pay cut. PERSONALLY, I am GLAD that Ms. Spellings is coming to town. I think that she has the moxie and the cajoles to actually handle this. YES, it will be tough, she seems to… Read more »

’68, Consul has permitted me to say that there is nothing you wrote that I find disagreement with other than broaching AFAM jock’s relationship choices, which is risky bidness nowadays. It is also considered as a threatening microaggression within the perpetually offended class.

Sounds to me like Chihauhua was talking surrender last night responding to the demands. This morning Princeton chancellor caved after 32 hours to demands there.

Well, you called it. No athletes=no leverage. They’ll figure that out, and they’ll be back with reinforcements. My money is on “no cajones” among UNC administration. I hope I’m wrong.

Rookies. Easily dispatched with a couple of curveballs, one up and in, and a change up.
Really, these meats had no gameplan.

BL,

This is easy to stop. Just ask them to present a financial plan that covers the cost of implementation and ongoing annual support of their 50 demands. This can then be presented to the legislature and be voted on by NC residents. Time to close and fortify the gates.

I still don’t know what they want in the end. The ultimate end game must be…

We DEMAND that if any resident of North Carolina, regardless of race, gender identity, mental capacity, intellectual ability, etc. be handed an undergraduate and graduate degree upon request without having to take those oppressive, white supremacist, racially discriminatory classes that are designed for the failure of minority students.

At least two of these women on the front row look FAR TOO OLD to be undergraduates. Give me a break! It looks like a few outside instigators who drafted a few gullible students and are trying to stir up trouble!

MIGHT be time for the GOVERNOR to speak up on this ? Ross is on-the-way-out , MOST UNFORTUNATELY , and Spellings needs time to survey the fields of fire for a bit . Maybe Chancellor Folt is ready for this now and “academia/administration” needs to take a stand somewhere or the pendulum is going to swing WAY back and right into the faces/chins/noses of these perhaps well-meaning but naive “demanders” . Given the option of Folt or McCrory responding , I’d trust the Chancellor .

Well , not EXACTLY a Mizzou model but just as ludicrous ! At least here there are specific complaints , or “demands” , never a good way to successfully negotiate . And to interrupt a meeting designed to hear more about , and address , somewhat similar grievances does not appear to be the optimum way to broach such broad-ranging subjects . One must wonder who orchestrated this effort and what is the REAL purpose . If seeking true resolution to most of the “demands” listed is the intent , this might be the WORST way possible (short of bombs)… Read more »

“And, of course, will “Dr. Debbie DDL” stand with these nimrods?”

No way. Never happen. Dr.Deb’s a stooge. She went toe-to-toe with Bob Ley & Phillip Jackson on the. Worldwide Leader. Blamed the players for allowing themselves to be duped by some “rogue” academicians. Not exactly sure how ya sell such an argument given the limited formal education of said players but Dr. DDL was right there pitchin’ it. 16 minute mark… http://espn.go.com/espnradio/play?id=10672168

It is probably just a matter of time before they land at my alma mater (NC State) with many of the same demands. Of course, NC State does not have a Silent Sam to get upset about, but I am sure they will find a lot to complain about, starting with the “industrial athletic program” and the demand regarding the new UNC president-elect. Unfortunately, I am afraid the response will be very similar at both schools. The administrators will bend over and grab those ankles. I know what I would do and the only thing I would be grabbing is… Read more »

I’m a UNC alum and taking a very dim view indeed. I’d go so far as to say I’m embarrassed. The Great Unpleasantness has removed much of the passion from my following of Carolina, and though I still follow faithfully, if this takes hold it’ll wane even further. I don’t have any money to donate when they come begging every year, but if I did and I had done so, I would feel even more embarrassed. These snowflakes really need to grow up.
