This award-winning steakhouse has one of the largest wine cellars in the U.S. All beef is corn-fed, aged, and cut at its in-house facility, putting the restaurant in control of the meat’s tenderness. If you’re looking to split a meal (or if you’re extra hungry), try the $95.00 Tomahawk Chop — a 42 ounce, bone-in rib eye that’s aged, charred, and crusted with a special seasoning.

Every time I think of this place I think of a dear departed countryfied tobacco business friend with a known weakness for cigarettes, whiskey, red heads, and red meat. Legend has it. he would go to the “Agnus Barn” (that’s what he called it) and would without fail say ” give me one of them there Chateaubriand’s for two for one.” RIP Max. God bless him and expense accounts too.
